Was in der legendären Färbi in Olten und ab 1994 im Flössi in Aarau begann, feiert im 2024 als Spellbound sein 30! jähriges Jubiläum. 3 Bands und 3 DJs werden für eine unvergessliche Wave-Gothic-Electro Party im KiFF sorgen.
COVENANT (SWE) Electro: It’s a name that implies extraordinary commitment, a certain grandiosity, and a bond stronger than blood. As a name, Covenant—with its biblical overtones—was perhaps a bit ambitious for an upstart band of teenagers from southern Sweden armed with rudimentary electronics, but it ended up being extraordinarily fitting. Whether or not life subsequently imitated art or art subsequently imitated life is debatable, either way the band’s moniker ended up perfectly summing up the vision, grandeur, and brotherhood that is the band itself.---
BLACKBOOK (CH) synthpop: Das Schweiz-Holländische Duo BLACKBOOK erschafft rhythmische Klangwelten voller Gefühle und Intensität, indem sie das Herz des 80er New Wave mit einer modernen Synthpop-Seele verbinden, eine Fusion, die so fesselnd ist, dass man sie auf Dauerschleife hören kann! SCHONWALD (ITA) coldwave: Schonwald is a duo from Ravenna, Italy.
Members are Alessandra Gismondi & Luca Bandini. Schonwald is all about atmospheres: hypnotic minimalist mood and a noise inclination with echoes of Suicide, New Order, The Cure, mingling with synth melodies straight from the ’80. Don’t let the Germanic name fool you this two-piece unit has been surreptitiously dwelling in the shadowy corners of the European underworld for a few years now.
